In the first quarter of 2021, Latin America saw significant activity in the Personal Finance app category on the Android platform. Data from Sensor Tower provides a glimpse into how various apps performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Money manager & expenses from Cleaner + Antivirus + VPN company saw a steady increase in downloads, starting from around 11K in the last week of December 2020 to over 16K by the end of March 2021. Weekly active users also showed an upward trend, rising from approximately 18K to over 56K in the same period.

Splitwise, another popular app, experienced a peak in downloads in the second week of February with over 18K downloads, although there was a general downward trend, ending the quarter with around 7.5K downloads. Revenue remained relatively stable, averaging around $400 per week, and weekly active users fluctuated, reaching a high of over 33K in February before settling to around 31K by the end of March.

Realbyte Inc.'s Money Manager Expense & Budget showed less volatility in downloads throughout the quarter, with numbers hovering between 3.7K and 5.5K. Revenue saw some fluctuations but generally stayed around the $500 mark weekly. Active users saw a slight decline from around 33K to 31K over the quarter.

Svyatoslav Vlasov's 1Money: expense tracker budget observed a decrease in downloads from approximately 4.8K to 2.4K. Lastly, Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker from BudgetBakers.com had a fluctuating download count, starting at nearly 3K and peaking at 4.4K in the last week of March. This app's revenue saw some dips but recovered to around $1.5K by the end of March. Active users showed growth, increasing from around 19K to over 22K.
